I'm thrilled that my hot calf roper hero, Wes Griffin from Texas Two-Step, has been nominated by readers as one of the finalists in All Romance eBooks' Summer's Hottest Heroes Contest.

I'm honored to be up against one of the authors who inspired me to write romance years ago, an author whose books I read when writing my own was just a dream for me--Vicki Lewis Thompson. I guess that's the beauty of this strange new world publishing has turned into--a small press author can play in the same league as a NY Times Best Selling author. Yeah, she's likely going to kick my butt, but it truly is an honor just to be nominated.
